- Green Park Provincial Park Port Hill
Located on Route 12, 6km west of Tyne Valley. Beautiful
unsupervised river beach, playground, picturesque scenery, hot showers,
recreation equipment available.
- Cedar Dunes Provincial Park
West Point
Located off Route 14, 24km south of O'Leary. Supervised
ocean beach, West Point Lighthouse on sight, nature trails, interpretive
programs, hot showers, and recreation equipment available. A truly
magnificent beach!
- Cambellton Beach Cambellton
Located off Route 14, Unsupervised ocean beach. Miles of
sand, colorful scenery, never crowded. Take a refreshing swim or a
romantic walk on this great beach.
- Skinner's Pond Beach Skinner's Pond
Located off Route 14, Spectacular unsupervised ocean
beach. Miles of sandy shores. Perfect for rest and relaxation. Come
listen to the music of the waves pounding on the shore and enjoy
picturesque surroundings.
- Anglo Beach Anglo-Tignish
Come and enjoy this splendid unsupervised beach. Miles of
magnificent red sand make this beach the place to be on a summers day,
romantic walks, secluded atmosphere, and a striking view.
- Fisherman's Haven Provincial Park Tignish
Located off Route 12. A day use park with an unsupervised ocean beach.
- Jacques Cartier Provincial Park Kildare
Route 12, 5km east of Alberton. It is here that Prince
Edward Island was discovered by Jacques Cartier in 1534. This beach, on
the Gulf of St. Lawrence, is a must to see. Supervised ocean beach,
nature trails, children's games, and hot showers, Jacques Cartier is one
of the most beautiful beaches in Western Prince Edward Island.
- Miminegash Harbour/Beach Located off Rte. 14
Unsupervised ocean beach. Working harbour and miles of sandy beaches.
